Name: Bobby Hosea
Marital Status: married, 2 children

Biography

Bobby Hosea played Xena`s lover Marcus in two season one episodes. He has a long list of tv and film credits in shows such as China Beach, Murder She Wrote and JAG. He appeared in films such as MANTIS (where he worked with Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert) and played OJ Simpson in the 1995 TV movie The OJ Simpson Story. Bobby played Major MacArthur Lewis, Jr. - aka Hammer - the old-school Marine Executive Officer on Pensacola Wings of Gold.
Bobby's father was in the US Air Force, and as an Air Force kid, Hosea grew up in Murfreesboro, Tennessee; Dixon Mills, Alabama; Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska; Plattsburg, NY; Wheatland, Yuba City and San Bernardino, California, winding up in Los Angeles. In fact, paternal influence almost switched Hosea's career choice from acting to the military.
Hosea has built a career filled with regular roles in such series as the critically-acclaimed Vietnam drama China Beach, the action adventure The Cape and the cutting-edge comedy 1st and 10. He also made headlines - and waves - in the title role of the telefilm The O.J. Simpson Story. But acting was far from Hosea's mind when he won a football scholarship to UCLA. As a star defensive back, he was named "Most Inspirational Player" during his senior year. He later turned pro, playing for three years in the Canadian Football League as well as with the Los Angeles Express and the Jacksonville, Florida Bulls of the U.S. Football League. "I retired at 28 because I had just been beaten up enough. Playing defensive back was constant pressure and as the injuries started to mount up, I wondered what's next. It was time for me to go."
Bobby is married with 2 children, Renee and Stephen.
