Saturday 28th November 2009 is usually our Winter/Xmas themed fest, and a chance to do your Xena shopping (buy stuff in the auction, get your mum to wrap it up for you to put under the tree!) Surely every Xena home needs a Renee O'Connor Action Women TV Guide, or the 6inch Xena action figure. How about a VHS video collection - always a popular raffle prize!

Tthe UK Xenafest Facebook Group now has 55 members - some of whom live overseas so are unlikely to make it in November - but if you haven't joined, click over there now.

We start at 12 noon with the usual mixture of music videos, clips and episodes (programme to be confirmed), the amazing raffle, my increasingly tricky quiz, the mystery lucky dip and the now legendary charity auction - and there are some really great items available, so bring your cheque books/credit/debit card! There will be a buffet supper and all this for the bargain price of £12.We have the room until late, so expect the now traditional Xenafest party well into the night!

We have negotiated a special discounted room rate at the Baron's Court. Guests staying at the hotel will get full use of the amenities, which include sauna, gym, swimming pool and restaurant.

All proceeds from the event are going to charity - as always. We will once again be supporting the excellent Walsall Breast Cancer Support Group and also the Coventry Myton Hospice Appeal We are always amazed at the generosity of Xena fans, and we are delighted to have raised so much money over the last 20 fests.

Finding The Baron's Court
From North West - leave M6 at J12 - take A5 to Brownhills through Cannock. At roundabout with A461, turn right onto the A461. The hotel is located on the left after approx. three miles

From the North East -leave M42 at J10 and take A5 to Brownhills. Continue on A5 for about sixteen miles, turning left at roundabout onto A461 to Walsall. The hotel is located on the left after approx. three miles.

From South West & South East - leave M6 at J7, take the A34 towards Walsall, follow the A4148 ring road. At roundabout with A461 junction, turn right onto A461 to Lichfield. The hotel is located on the right after approx. three miles.
