The Other Woman (12A)

Directed by Nick Cassavetes
Starring Cameron Diaz, Leslie Mann, Kate Upton, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau

Lawyer(!) Cameron Diaz discovers her dreamy new boyfriend Mark (Coster-Waldau) is married, and forms a weird bond with the spurned wife Kate (Leslie Mann). Things get worse when they realise Mark has yet another girlfriend, the buxom 22 year old Amber(Upton). They decide to get their own back on the cheater in a comedy that is a cross between First Wives Club and Bridesmaids - although not as good as either.
This film had absolutely terrible reviews, and when I saw it, I had the cinema to myself, so I didn't have high expectations. However, I actually rather enjoyed this! Yes, another film about women whose lives revolve around a man, but I sort of liked the odd camaraderie between them. However, the slapstick ending was totally stupid and the whole premise completely daft and unrealistic. Still, pretty funny and not the total disaster some critics say. Could have done without watching a dog crap on the floor though!!
