David Te Rare appeared most memorably as Callisto's sidekick, Theodorus, who was killed by Callisto while she was in Xena's body in Intimate Stranger. David appeared twice more on the show - as bad guys once again. He was slave trader Marat in Crusader and Talia's estranged husband Darcon in S5's Animal Attraction.
David is sometimes listed as David Rare. He appeared in the acclaimed NZ film, Once Were Warriors
